Arbors Already™

These designer arbors are engineered at the handyman skill level to be easily assembled on site. There is no cutting to lengths involved -- all pieces are pre-cut to precision.

There are no big beams to handle. These arbors use a new technique introduced to the building trade by MR DECK™, called "the integrated canopy", in which every element is essentially fastened to its adjacent parallel elements on both of its sides through periodically placed spacers, making the entire canopy one single integrated unit.

This eliminates any need for big beams, rafters or cross-bracing in the interior. The resulting canopy is a wide-open inverted shell of a unique, engineeringly-balanced, architectural design.

The structures top-out between 11 and 12 feet, making these kinds of arbors appropriate for residential settings.

Quadra-brim Arbor  -- Top View

12x12 approx $6000

Quadra-brim Arbor  -- Side Elevation

The lumber is predominantly white hollow PVC. Some PVC pieces have redwood inserts to provide strength. The connector elements are solid polyethylene components of matching color.

The skylight grids come pre-assembled.

This makes these arbors maintenance free except for periodic hosing-off -- birds have no respect for man-made structures.

The arbors are designed to avoid using any metal brackets except for those required to anchor the post bases. A water-proof post-base boot is furnished for each post to hide these.

Each kit comes with a complete set of down-to-earth instructions in plain English written by me personally. Definitions are provided where building-terms must be used in the narrative.  Every piece is number-tagged for ready identification and sequenced in the order of assembly.

Be aware that these designer arbors do not scale up or down linearly so for a different size structure the cost will always be more than what you expect.

It would be helpful if you sent digital photos of the setting where your structure would be placed as an attachment to your contact email.
