Lés Gazébeaus
Arches abound under an octagonal crown in this very French rendition of a gazebo. Strung between post pairs around the perimeter is an arched balustered valance. This valance is recessed below a crown-molded fascia.
Mini-corbels provide the anchor points for the valance at each post. Higher in the interior, larger corbels, where beam meets post, provide the necessary lateral bracing in both directions. The theme is expressed in both elongated and regular octagonal structures above and the truncated polygonal porch here to the left.
