Mr Deck Showpiece Decks and Arbors

DESIGN WORK

All of the structures depicted in this website were designed, as well as built, by Mr. Deck unless otherwise indicated. Obviously, those in the Critiques were not.

Design work is offered on a contract basis only. The deliverable is one blue-line hard-copy drawing to scale. Use of the design is restricted to one unit's construction.

We don't design projects for others to build themselves or hire someone else to build for them without our providing the decking material or prefabricating the complete arbor. All design work must be associated with a project that Mr. Deck will prefabricate, furnish the materials and ship to the job-site.

For projects within our local area of operation, the minimum design work fee is $300 and generally does not exceed $500 per structure for residential projects. Outside our local area of operation, the minimum design work fee is $500. Design work beyond the fixed fee scope of work is charged at $65/hr.

Below is a deck project designed by Mr. Deck and built in Smithfield Virginia in 2008 by a local contractor there, entitled the Stein Project. It uses our turned solid-plastic balusters and plastic newels and our all solid-plastic PrimoPlank 1-inch thick decking.
