Perichute IV
This arbor is a small 360º version
of the Morris project with circular beam
diameter of 12 feet built in a beautiful park setting. The circular beam has been encapsulated with 2x
polyethylene white plastic.
The radial lath is hollow 2x4 PVC with
flush end-caps. The 4x rafters are painted resawn Douglas Fir capped with
1/8-inch PVC.
The round top-piece is a 3-foot diameter
grid made from solid-plastic white 2x4 polyethylene.
The columns are 10-inch Doric PVC column
sleeves set over 8x8 pressure-treated posts.
As is our trademark, no fasteners are
visible anywhere.
This style of arbor has application to
larger diameters up to 40 feet.
