This structure is a modified version of the Spiral Staircase Kit #2. Here, the diameter of the central column area is 6 feet across and the stair treads are 4 feet wide. The cover canopy above is 16 feet in diameter and is supported by six 6x6 posts extending up from the central column around which the stair wends. The central portion above the column is 3 feet in diameter. The cover canopy is to be one of a number of fractal patterns shown below printed on the underside of stiff translucent polycarbonate plastic panels.
