Its two wings are each supported by opposing 6x12 scroll-beams. Each scroll-beam is supported by two concrete-filled architectural columns at the opposing spiral ends. Each column is anchored below ground by extending the column's reinforced concrete core 48 inches below its base. The lath atop each wing is white 2x4 PVC plastic tubing, with flush-capped ends, running parallel to the wall with 2-inch spacing The 4x8 end-carved arbor joists are attached to the house by an external ledger bolted into the wall's internal frame rim-joist that lies between 1st and 2nd stories. Central to the arbor is a marquee canopy consisting of two U-beams at different elevations. The lower beam is a 6x12 attached in two places atop each scroll-beam and hung on the same ledger as the joists. The upper U-beam is a 6x8 fastened to the house via 4x12 blocking placed between studs in the 2nd-story wall through a surgical opening into the exterior wall. The marquee canopy is capped by a slightly arched 5-foot wide skylight made from 4-foot segments of 1-inch thick 5-wall internally-ribbed white translucent polycarbonate plastic sheets. The marquee rafters are 4x6 timbers and the rafter lath between them is white 2x4 PVC plastic tubing, all sloped at a 60* angle between the upper and lower U-shaped beams. The cantilevered front of the marquee sports a radial sun-burst treatment of rafter elements. Price: $29,500
