   Palaceade Roma

Return to Design Orphanage

Description

This 500 sf structure possesses three arches on each side. The front and rear are the same with two columns separating three distinct arches. The sides are the same with three intersecting, truncated arches set between two columns.

The capitals which are usually set atop the Roman columns have been lowered to mid-point and makes an excellent base for terminating the arches.

The four rear columns of this arbor can be placed atop a retaining wall at the rear provided the retaining wall is properly structured ahead of time (retaining wall not included).
