Return to Design Orphanage

Here is a 536 sq ft arbor that is larger and cheaper than the stand-alone Palaceade Roma arbor. The central canopy was designed to be attached to the wall of a 2-story house through the pair of double-beams. The wings have single-beams and are free-standing.

The arbor has fewer support columns, fewer lamps and fewer arches. It also has no mid-point scroll-capitals -- these have been replaced with just precast concrete collar-ledgers for terminating the arches. A few of the main support timbers have been reduced from 6x's to 4x's.
