Here are a few photos of MR. DECK's all-solid plastic turned balusters integrated with all-plastic newels.
◄ Shows our plastic newels used in a support-post role with vertical plastic cladding above the basic newel. The two vertical grooves in the cladding are not only decorative but allow rain water to flow freely behind the arbor's kneebraces thereby avoiding its getting trapped in the back crevasse where dryrot could otherwise occur.
Shows different ►
height newels on top and bottom of stairs.
The 39" Primo-balusters are at 30" spacing and space filled in with black powder-coated Baroque 1" by ¼" aluminum balusters. Note: Discontinuity in color of black balusters stems from light reflected off surface of shiny balusters .
Shows 45" high newel with weather-protected electrical receptacle on bottom of front ► panel and lamp on top. Shows turned balusters at railing ends without newels. The solid-plastic Primo-balusters are rigid enough to serve as posts on short straight railing segments. ▼
Shows balusters topped with ball-finials.▼
◄ Shows the integrated railing and border plank at the corners.
Shows white metal tube balusters between our turned plastic balusters, both mounted between the top and bottom rail. ► Note supports needed beneath bottom rail. |
