Daisy Bar-Shade Arbor

This daisy arbor was designed exclusively for YARDSCAPE Outdoor Center in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles. The arbor is offered in conjunction with their masonry BBQ and Bar Islands. Their Outdoor Center is located at 22035 Ventura Blvd. It's within 1 short block from the Topanga Canyon Rd. exits off HWY 101. Their direct line is 818-999-9430.

This arbor design is available in 2/3 (240º), 3/4 (270º) and full (360º) circle depending on the style of Island it will be covering. The canopy shown here is 2/3 of a circle, 12 feet in diameter and overhangs the bar-top perimeter by 27 inches.

For a 12 ft diameter canopy, 240º requires 3 posts; 270º requires 4 posts; and 360º requires 5 posts. Larger diameter canopies are available for larger Islands, but still more support posts may be required.

The arbor is 99.5% above-standard grade solid-plastic PrimoPlank, including the 5-inch thick round support-posts. The other 0.5% comes from the color-coated metal fasteners used to hold it all together.

The one shown here combines three colors, chestnut, rosewood and beige oak, into a three dimensional daisy pattern. These colors have been chosen to match the colors of the tiles and masonry used in the attached BBQ Island, but other color combinations can be special-ordered to complement different selected tile and masonry colors.

The canopy contains a central grid six-inches thick in a circular ring with a concave cut-out in the front.

The underside is just as attractive as the topside because of the designer under-structure and more of the alternating colors are visible.
